Rockets deny Melo's tenure is coming to an end

It appears Carmelo Anthony's first season with the Houston Rockets is nearing an end, and not even one month into it.

The implication from Woj seems to be that the Rockets might not want Anthony around the rest of the season.

"We're struggling as a team".

Carmelo Anthony #7 of the Houston Rockets warms up before the game against the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center on October 20, 2018 in Los Angeles, California.

It is only 10 games in and the Rockets are already thinking about dropping Carmelo Anthony.

"I would expect him to be playing when he's healthy", Morey said when asked whether Anthony would return to the lineup.

Trump Joins World Leaders to Mark 100 Years Since End of WWI
When the war ended on November 11, 1918, the US armed forces was on the cusp of becoming the major military power in the world. Last to arrive was Russian President Vladimir Putin, who gave Mr Trump a brief thumbs-up as he greeted the others leaders.

Anthony, who is in his 16th season, has averaged 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds in 10 games with two starts this season. It's unfair that there's all this speculation on just one player.

However, Anthony and the Rockets are off to a rough start. "I understand it, because he's obviously a Hall of Famer, but it's unfair".

"I know that we're talking about everything", he said.

According to The Athletic, which cited league sources, the Rockets have engaged in talks with the star forward regarding his role with the team and "are seriously weighing his roster situation".

"Our problem is we can't shoot the basketball", he said. "He's been great with us, as coach [Mike D'Antoni] said yesterday".

Morey said that it's "his job" to figure out how to get the team going, but that he's seen signs recently that things will soon turn around.
