Police Seek Person Of Interest, Missing Child In Ohio Death Investigation

Authorities still are searching for a suspect, but have canceled the missing-child alert for a 7-year-old boy who was sought following an incident at a mobile home in southern OH that left three people dead and a fourth hospitalized.

Deputies found the bodies of three adults in a house trailer in an unincorporated area of Lawrence County at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, the sheriff's office said. Police officers from all village agencies, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Ashland KY Police, and the Huntington Police K9 unit assisted in the search for Lawson but he was able to evade capture in the darkness.

An endangered child advisory for a missing 8-year-old has been cancelled following a deadly shooting in southern Ohio.

A search of the woods near the scene was conducted and Devin was not found. Devin has been entered into NCIC as a missing endangered child.

Police have identified a person of interest in the case, Aaron Lawson, 23.

Investigators said that victim had been stabbed in the neck and head and flown to a hospital.

Anyone with information about Lawson's whereabouts should call 911 or contact the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office at 740-532-3525. The sheriff's office said Lawson crashed into a ditch before he ran into nearby woods where he lost police.

The youngster, Devin Holston, lived at the second residence, but has since been found.

He stands 4-feet-8-inches-tall and weighs 80 lbs.

"The names of the victims are not being released at this time pending positive identification and notification of next of kin", the sheriff said.

The sheriff's office said releasing further information would compromise the investigation. Aaron was last seen on foot around St Rt 141 and County Road 44 South.
