Charlotte Hawkins breaks down in tears after Strictly exit

Charlotte, who was voted off of Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday night after four weeks, was reduced to tears on the show when Piers launched into a furious rant at Strictly judge Shirley Ballas, who got Charlotte's name wrong during Saturday night's show.

Appearing visibly emotional, Brendan spoke movingly about his time on the show with the GMB presenter.

"But it's not often that you stand here with such sadness and go, "I'm going to miss this, I'm going to miss hanging out with this girl" and I'm going to miss dancing with her". "You ARE Strictly. You've been there from the get go & the fans love you being there".

Brendan, 41, was first to lose his composure after he was asked if they were expecting to leave the competition, despite Simon Rimmer being the favourite. Deep down, Brendan doesn't want to either - but options are being weighed up'.

After head judge Len Goodman left previous year, it was rumoured that Brendan was upset not to be asked to join the panel.

Brendan acknowledged a critical comment from Shirley telling him to watch back footage of his Top Gun-inspired tango by quipping, "I will my dear, I will".

Strictly judge Bruno Tonioli also took Cole to task and told him he should be more respectful to the new head judge.

There were mixed reactions over the dancing sensation's potential exiting of the show.

He then tearfully addressed the audience, saying: "I've had one of the best Strictly's in 15 years".

Cole's publicist has been contacted for comment.

Chatting to her co-hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna, Charlotte, 42, said: "You have this magical, sparkly world and you spend so much time in it, it gives you so much life and you feel so full of energy. See you on tour", wrote another Strictly fan.

Davood's fellow contestants were similarly stunned to see him in the dance-off, as well as the judges themselves. Brendan preferred Charlotte to Sophie?
